We are seeking an AI Engineer specialising in the implementation of Autonomous AI Agents. This role blends software engineering, MLOps, and DevOps to design, deploy, and maintain LLM-based agents capable of orchestrating IT workflows, integrating APIs and corporate systems, and applying Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) over vector databases.
Core Responsibilities
- Design agent-based architectures enabling multiple agents to collaborate and call corporate tools, APIs, or functions.
- Implement RAG pipelines (Vector DB + LLM) using Pinecone, Chroma or similar for contextual intelligence.
- Extend agents with OpenAI Function Calling for IT system operations (CMDB, ticketing, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Optimise LLM performance: prompt engineering, embedding caching, evaluation.
- Apply robust security and governance practices — prompt versioning, minimal permissions, traceability, retention policies, and ethical AI standards.
- Train IT teams on agentic AI principles and produce reusable technical documentation.
