DevOps Observability

At Datadope, we’re transforming how organisations understand, monitor, and manage their systems through observability and intelligent data analysis. We work with leading clients in critical sectors, and we’re looking for a DevOps Observability Engineer to join our team.

You’ll work in a technically demanding environment surrounded by top talent, where your experience will be key to evolving and automating a complex ecosystem of tools and services. What You’ll Do

  • Design and implement observability solutionstailored to each client’s infrastructure and business needs, using multiple monitoring and analytics platforms.
  • Develop audit and compliance frameworksto ensure data integrity and adherence to client-specific regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with client technical and business teams to deliver end-to-end observability projects, from assessment to deployment and optimization.
  • Define, document, and apply best practices and observability standardsacross diverse client environments.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline monitoring processes, improving reliability and reducing operational overhead for clients.
  • Provide technical guidance and ongoing supportto client teams, ensuring successful adoption and long-term value of implemented solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with DataDope’s internal experts (SRE, Product, Sales, and others) to align client project outcomes with our overall service excellence.
  • Share knowledge, mentor teammates, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
  • Promote and embody DataDope’s vision of Observability— helping organizations gain full visibility and control over their digital ecosystems

  • Monitoring and alerts: Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix
  • Logging: ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Fluentd, Loki
  • Tracing: Jaeger, OpenTelemetry
  • Automation & CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps
  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
  • Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
  • Cloud: AWS, GCP, Azure (CloudWatch, Stackdriver, Azure Monitor)
  • Scripting languages: Bash, Python, Go
  • Messaging: Kafka, RabbitMQ (for distributed event tracing and observability)
