A key event for digital leaders
On Thursday 5 June, Datadope took part in the round table “FutureOps: AI and the New Era of IT Automation”, an event organised by CIONET, one of Europe’s leading communities of digital leaders. The session brought together experts from the technology sector to discuss how artificial intelligence and observability are transforming IT operations.
The event highlighted that the true value of AI can only be unlocked when it is built on high-quality, well-structured data aligned with business priorities.
Experts and leading voices in the debate
Moderated by Luis Alberto de la Cruz, the session featured leading professionals including Diego Forcén, Maite Morales, Jorge Reus, Juan Antonio Chicharro and Juan Carlos Moreno. Representing Datadope, Sergio Monge, CEO, and the Sales Director took part, sharing the company’s vision of the key role advanced observability plays in the evolution of IT operations.
Challenges and opportunities in IT transformation
The conversation addressed the challenge of connecting technical indicators with business objectives, highlighting the need to build a 360° view of IT infrastructures and clearly define KPIs before deploying advanced technology solutions.
Only then, the speakers agreed, is it possible to turn large volumes of data into actionable information that enables organisations to anticipate incidents, optimise technology resources and improve the end-user experience.
Governance and intelligent automation
During the session, the discussion also covered AI governance and the role of intelligent agents in IT environments. Intelligent automation requires organisations to define precisely how far decision-making can be delegated and how different sub-agents should be coordinated under centralised supervision.
The importance of outsourcing the management of monitoring tools was also highlighted, in order to ensure objectivity and avoid conflicts of interest.
Datadope’s vision for digital transformation
For Datadope, initiatives of this kind reinforce its purpose of supporting organisations throughout their digital transformation journey. Through its observability and automation solutions, the company turns operational data into real intelligence, enabling businesses to optimise infrastructure, reduce cloud costs and give IT teams the full visibility they need to act with agility and efficiency.
FutureOps conclusions
The FutureOps event showed that change in IT operations does not depend solely on implementing new technologies, but on understanding, connecting and harnessing data as the foundation for innovation and sustained value creation.
